MEDIA DIRECTOR / CULINARY LIAISON
As the Media Director/Culinary Liaison, Trudi (an Australian native) manages all websites and social media accounts (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) for each individual event and consulted events, and, liaises directly with local, regional and national chefs and restaurants to manage presence at onsite events and to coordinate media engagements.
She also acts as spokesperson for the events and has successfully coordinated and spoken on numerous live radio and television interviews from the Seattle area market. Trudi also writes and sends company event press releases, designs & distributes event emails, assembles press kits, and coordinates with the Seattle Times and The News Tribune newspapers to create programs for each company event.
Trudi held the role of Senior Event Manager with the Festivals Inc. & New Growth Event Solution team before advancing into the role of Media Director. She has extensive experience managing a diverse portfolio of major events and festivals around the world, including US Military events in Spain, corporate events in California and unique community festivals in Australia including the Beef,Bells & Bottletree Festival, the Chinchilla Melon Festival, and more.
